DREBACH PLANETARIUM IN GERMANY.
Small, but nice, is how the Drebach Planetarium in Germany could be described. It is optimally equipped for the future as an educational and tourist attraction. The latest technological achievements are new digital projectors of the VELVET LED type, which replace the older ones with lamp technology.
A ceremony on November 8 honored the renovations of the planetarium. The new ZEISS projectors with their LED technology provide impressive images on the dome with bright and more vivid colors. Like their predecessors, they avoid background brightening that disturbs the impressive beauty of the starry night sky thanks to the "True Black Projection Technology" developed by ZEISS.
We are pleased that, like the Drebach Planetarium, many planetariums are already relying on the new VELVET LED technology after only a short time. We thank all our customers for their confidence in the VELVET projection technology.

NEW PLANETARIUM IN HALLE IS PROGRESSING.
The construction of the new planetarium in Halle is progressing. Our technicians have almost finished installing the projection technology in the 12.2-m dome. Soon the customer will be able to steer the stars. An article by mdr (Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk) reports on the status of the new planetarium construction (in German).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NAGOYA! 60 YEARS AGO, THE NAGOYA CITY SCIENCE MUSEUM PLANETARIUM OPENED IN JAPAN.
Happy birthday to Nagoya! 60 years ago, the Nagoya City Science Museum Planetarium opened in Japan. With a ZEISS Mark IV planetarium projector, the planetarium's journey into the far reaches of space and into its own future began. By the time the major rebuild began in 2010, the museum had attracted 15 million visitors. With the reopening in 2011, the planetarium with its 35-m dome is considered the largest facility of its kind in the world. A ZEISS UNIVERSARIUM Mark IX planetarium projector has been at the center of the dome and the astronomical presentations ever since. We wish the planetarium team continued success in their work. We humans need the cosmic perspective to secure our life on planet Earth in the long term.
AT IMERSA IN MONTREAL
We are pleased to have the opportunity to support two more significant conferences with our sponsorship. After two years of exclusively virtual meetings, it was and is a special pleasure to meet so many customers and partners in person again. At IMERSA in Montreal, experts and interested parties from all forms of immersive presentations met. Overwhelming content, countless conversations and discussions about presentation forms, technology and interactions with the audience characterized the meeting in the dome of the Société des Arts technologiques and in the Rio Tinto Alcan planetarium. Planetariums of the Great Lakes Planetariums Association (GLPA) are currently meeting in Buffalo. Buffalo, NY has two planetariums: the newly established Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium with a ZEISS SKYMASTER ZKP 4 planetarium and the traditional dome of the Williamsville Space Lab Planetarium. Together with our representative Seiler Instruments Manufacturing, we presented our current technology such as our new Starball ASTERION and the status of our UNIVIEW planetarium software.

BRIGHTEST STARS' COLOURS Taken by Paolo Palma on November 15, 2022 @ Naples - Italy
Here are a mosaic of the COLOURS of the brightest stars visible from Italian latitute. I took them during this year deliberately SHOCKING the telescope, because, as the italian poet Filippo Zamboni said, in this way the colors of the stars seem to come out of nowhere! CAPELLA, POLLUX and ARCTURUS appear really yellowed in front of ANTARES, BETELGEUSE and ALDEBARAN's redness; and PROCION and FOMALHAUT are decidedly white if compared to the bluish shades of VEGA, SPICA and RIGEL! Excluding those INvisible from Italian latitudes, those taken here, are the top 20 brightest stars in the sky. They can represent all the most common spectral classes in existence too.
