MOON AND MARS MEET BETWEEN THE COLORFUL CLOUDS Taken by Amirreza Kamkar on October 2, 2020 @ Karaj, Alborz, Iran

I've captured the attached image on October 2nd, when nearly full Moon and currently bright planet Mars (which is very close to opposition) made a pair in the sky. Because of the pandemic situation it's been months that I've not go out of the city for stargazing and this is a view of our balcony in a mostly cloudy night! I've captured several images and waited for the right moment to take a single-exposure photo. And the moment arrived! When some thick clouds cover the Moon but Mars was still clearly visible between the clouds. And finally the colorful halo around the Moon adds some color to the image. What else do you want from Mother Nature?! As mentioned it's a single-exposure photo and here is the technical details: Canon EOS 6D camera, Canon EF 200mm f/2.8 lens, 2.5s exposure, ISO 100, f/8.
