GREAT LAKES PLANETARIUM ASSOCIATION (GLPA) MEETING WAS HELD AT THE KALAMAZOO VALLEY STATE MUSEUM, MICHIGAN. PRESENTED THE ZEISS TRUE BLACK PROJECTION TECHNOLOGY WITH A SETUP OF TWO VELVET LED PROJECTORS (STACKED) IN THE 15 M DOME.

Last week, this year's Great Lakes Planetarium Association (GLPA) meeting was held at the Kalamazoo Valley State Museum, Michigan. Our representative in the USA, Seiler Manufacturing, presented the ZEISS True Black projection technology with a setup of two VELVET LED projectors (stacked) in the 15 m dome. The projection of a star field of our new Starball ASTERION proved to be a special highlight. ZEISS was the only company to demonstrate an optical star projection. Uniview users on-site as well as remotely attended the UNIVIEW Special Interest Group meeting. The new developments UNIVIEW Open Dome and the integration of planar video playback were received with great interest.
