Join us in celebrating today's #InternationalPlanetariumsDay and meet Franco!π
Before starting his job at ZEISS, Franco worked as an optician.π
He found out about the technique of threading stars during an orientation day at the world’s tiniest planetarium at the ZEISS Museum of Optics in Oberkochen, Germany. This immediately sparked his fascination. π«
“ Today I thread and color the stars for the Asterion Projector. Orion presents the most work because it has many colors that are very close together. While I am working, I often stop to hold my breath and admire their beauty,” he says. ✨
