ASTERION not only promises a particularly beautiful and bright starry sky, the projector also presents itself as an eye-catcher. In auditoriums without a dedicated star projector the imaging technology and the special nature of planetarium projection remains hidden from the audience, similar to what you find in movie theaters. That is why we chose to give the projector a special design. It arouses interest and curiosity and contributes to making the planetarium a unique place.
ASTERION's foot measures only 650 mm in diameter. The column of the projector tapers from 260 mm to 200 mm. With concentric seating arrangements, the footprint is insignificant. It corresponds to approximately the width of a typical seat with armrests and is so small that most of the center of the auditorium can be used for seats even with unidirectional seating arrangements. One more reason not to do without a brilliant starry sky.
