COMET NEOWISE Taken by Jan Curtis on July 18, 2020 @ Cheyenne, Wyoming

Sky transparency was about 7 (out of 10) and with Comet NEOWISE higher in the evening sky, more detail was acquired.

1. Tech Specs: Nikon d3500, Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 @ f/2.8, iso 1600, exp 22x60s, raw, uncropped, Astrotrac EQ Mount.

Post processed using PixInsight, Lightroom, and Photoshop.

2.The ion "blue" tail measured at least 16 degrees in this image.

3. Tech Specs: Nikon d3500, Nikkor 35mm f/2.8 @ f/2.0, iso 800, exp 14x60s, raw, slightly cropped, Astrotrac EQ Mount.

Post processed using PixInsight, Lightroom, and Photoshop.

Foreground was a single exposure blended into the stacked sky image.

Neighbor's lights were unavoidable.
