It has been a whirlwind of a month observing Comet NEOWISE. And I might add a lot of fun too! First slumbering out of bed well before the crack of dawn and then spending late nights out trying to capture as many images as possible. It has been well worth the hours of lost sleep. Not since Comet Hale-Bopp, 23 years ago, have I been able to image a comet this nice in the morning or evening sky. And thinking back...the scary thing is I was using film back then. Comet NEOWISE is not done. If you've not seen it, get out to a dark site with a pair of binoculars to spot its tail. But do it soon before the Moon washes out the comet. This is just a montage of images I captured over the past 14 days or so - trying to capture the tail. It's amazing to see the tail change so rapidly over time.
I like astronomy, archaeology, photography, music and drinking a lot of tea. I hate politics. Something that annoys me: that I shall not respect the permanence, and to take me by what I'm not. The best sign: VIRGO. The worst: the health. The best: adapt and know how to get ahead.
